California Traffic Control Course for State Highways and Roads (Caltrans Approved)
Caltrans Approved Highway Flagger Class (4hr class)
(4 hours) This course is an introduction to the basic principles of work zone flagging as outlined in the Cal/OSHA, Construction Safety Orders: 1599(f) and 1599(g).
Caltrans Approved (Freeway/Highway) Traffic Control Technician Class (8hr class)
(1 day) This course is an introduction to the basic principles of temporary work zone traffic control.
Caltrans Approved (Freeway/Highway) Traffic Control Supervisor/TCS (High Speed) Class (16hr class)
(16 hours) This comprehensive course fills a void that has existed regarding the training of California highway engineers, and traffic control supervisors, having to plan, design and inspect traffic control systems in California’s unique massive high volume, high speed traffic environments.
- Currently, classes are held on an as-needed basis for groups of minimum 6+* only.
(*Minimum depending on location and specific class needed.) - Virtual and onsite training sessions are available for specific classes.

NOTE: There are no refunds for “no-shows”. A 50% credit towards another class is valid for use up to one (1) year from the class date.
